It may just be the colour scheme of the bedsheet, or the lighting present, but this is ultimately ineffective, more so than the towel. Poor dog has lost part of its face.

Will stick to pure cloths, cardboards, or papers.

Piss poor in comparison to paper. Fabric texture is the main cause of hindrance.

Cloth, cardboard, or paper would work, either in blue or green. In an honest opinion, it would be best to have blue and green for maximum diversity.

Blue Screen emulation. It's easier to omit shadows as blue is closer to black. Problem that we will encounter is that innocence is shown through blue, therefore our victims will be wearing more blue clothing as opposed to green. And again with black and blue being similar, victims can't then wear dark clothing.

Only other idea would be to create two colour screen emulations. This way we are prepared for whatever clothing the victim will be wearing. Either that or stick to green and limit ourselves in terms of what we can "screen".

Considering towels. Will test next.

Tried a green screen test with green paper. Not as refined as a professional version, but passable. More emulation testing will be done in future in order to achieve a "more perfect" green screen.
Shadows may cause a problem, but shouldn't be too much of one if done correctly.

Dim lighting, abandoned house, garage area.
Girl late teens, bound to chair, hands on table. Crying in fear and pain.
Chalk on blackboard, killer’s back is turned.
Killer: (Patronising)That’s 4 letters wrong now, are you sure you’re trying?
Victim: Please, it hurts…
Shows victim’s hands. 4 fingers chopped off.
Killer: (Turns) Oh, I’m sure it does. After all, stupidity warrants punishment. And as you can see, I’m very willing to deliver. Now guess.
Victim: Please, I don--
Killer: Ah ah ah... Guess.
Victim: (crying)F… F!
Killer: What was that? I can’t hear you over that pitiful sniveling of yours.
Victim: F!
Killer: F? F for freedom, fabulous, fantastic?
Victim: Yes!
Killer: F for family, friends…
Victim: Yes! Just please--
Killer: ... Failure.
Knife is shown.
Victim: No, please--
Killer: What a shame, that’s one more finger, Madame. Now go ahead and smile for the camera.
Knife being brought down. High pitched scream. Fade to white.
-----
Reporter: Local authorities have discovered a young woman in her teens hanged from the rafters this morning in the local chief of police’s shed, with all of her fingers chopped off.
Cut to detective office, group of detectives watching news.
Reporter: Police have already confirmed this to be the work of “The Hangman Killer”, making this to be the 6th kill this winter.
TV off.
Detective 1: This isn’t good enough, more innocent women are dying before our eyes, and all we can do is watch.
Flashback
Killer: (Wrong.)
Flashback

Detective 2: But what can we do, he's a madman who knows how to elude authority.
Flashback
Killer: (Do I have your attention now?)
End Flashback
Detective 1: We've lost too many good men to this guy. Who here is willing to put their life on the line? Who here is willing to send this man justice?
Flashback
Killer: (Laughter)
End Flashback
Main Detective: I will.
-----
Killer: What makes you different from the others?
Main Detective: I guess you'll find out.
-----
Fiance: (Pale) There's a bouquet for you.
Dead women clutching a banquet on detective's couch.
Main Detective: It has a note.
Both examine.
Fiance: "Flowers for your grave."
-----
(Do I have your attention now?)
Detective 1: Mentally, he's unbeatable. All of our own who've chalklenged him in the past, he's completely destroyed their mind. We had to send them to the asylum.
Main Detective: It won't happen to me.
Detective 1: I hope not. None of them made it to the asylum, all of the detectives have hanged themselves.
-----
(Wrong.)
On a video chat.
Killer: And thus the Juliets' have found their Romeo! Though for her sake, Detective, I hope you don't kill yourself out of sheer stupidity.
Main Detective: You're insane.
Killer: Thank you.
Main Detective: It wasn't a compliment.
Killer: That's what makes it sweeter.
-----
(Laughter)
In his dreams, the detective sees past victims.
Past Victims: Help me. Save us. Save me.
(More laughter)
-----
On national televcision.
Killer: An open challenge for Mister Detective. You see little Mandy here? You see, she's quite the singer, and did I ever tell you how much I love to hear a girl sing?
Cocks gun.
Killer: Every time you guess a letter wrong, detective, I'll make her sing, so that the whole nation can indulge in her voice.
(More laughter, merged with "Do I have your attention now?"
-----
Main Detective: I'm not sure if I can do this.
Fiance: But you have to. You're the closest anyone has gotten to him.
Detective: (Stares up at her) That's why I'm afraid.
-----
Killer: And as you sleep tonight detective, think that today you could have saved little Brittany... Or was it Whitney? It doesn't matter, she's dead all the same.
-----

(Wrong. Laughter. Do I have your attention now?)
Killer: When will you realise detective, that it is futile? From the moment you entered this game, I have been its master. This is my world now, and I rule you!
-----
Fast montage with killer's laughter.
-----
HANGMAN TITLE ON BLACKBOARD.

Detailed notes about possible set/locations, camera locations, available or potential lighting, safety hazards and other aspects that could affect your production.

Sheds, detective office, garage, possibly school grounds. The killings occur in a shed or garage. Either one gives us the desired atmosphere for the filming of the torture and inevitable death/hanging. Almost every house has a shed or garage of sorts which is why we thought it would be a good place for them to occur.

This could be happening in any one of the houses in Dannemora without our knowledge. Due to the universal similarity of garages and sheds alike we have an array of possibilities. We could use my garage, Laurence’s or even the caretakers shed. (given consent) Any of these locations could be used or even all of them depending on how many deaths we wish to portray.

The only necessity is that the location is slightly run down. The structure itself doesn’t need to be however as with clever camera work and the right props and lighting we can make a nice suburban garage look like a forgotten rundown shack.

The detective’s office can be filmed in any room that is clean, slightly Spartan and has a long table/desk. This can be pulled off anywhere, preferably it would be good to have a room with blinds as this gives an official and clinical police feel that we wish to portray. There will be case files upon the desk in a seemingly unorganised fashion, which is contrast to the plain government style office. Possibly we could ask maybe a parent of ours for the use of their office or even Mr Daley. I do not believe that we will be doing much filming so he should not have a problem with this request however his office is still a contingency plan rather than first choice.

Camera/filming locations are undecided as of yet. We plan to have set up with props and actors in the location before choosing where the scene would be best shot from. We would idealy wish to have two or even three cameras in different locations and angles. This would mean we can cut with ease between shots and get the angle that we believe is best.

We will shooting in days that are HOPEFULLY overcast days as we wish to merge film noir with horror (as tribute to usage of detectives and a detective building) Due to this the majority of the film will be darker with the main light being natural rather than electronic lighting which comes out looking odd when filmed

Safety hazards. There are no real saftey hazards other than very very small choking risk and also use of a knife which could, if not handled correctly potentially cut someone. However we will always be careful and always put the potentially dangerous objects away and out of harms way when they are not being used. Other than that there is always risk of car crashes which is more likely that the risks listed above.
